I don't usually write reviews for a 1 night stay arriving late and leaving early on different flights, but this is the second fantastic Ibis experience I've had in a year (the other in the UK). The updated properties are modern, clean and comfortable both room, bathroom (the shower is HUGE) and communal areas. This hotel in particular the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful, especially in the bar area where food and drink was provided quickly and attentively with a smile on their face. Just three stops on the metro from the airport, in a good location, this is a MUCH better choice for a layover than the few overpriced poor quality hotels by the airport.

Although we arrived late at night, the front desk was staffed and we were able to check in without a problem. Our room was small and furnished simply. It was clean and quiet. As we were only spending 1 night and leaving the following morning we didn't need extra comforts. The next day we were very pleased with the generous, all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. If we were planning to stay multiple days we'd probably opt for a room with more space and creature comforts but for our needs on that trip it fit the bill. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located close to the major but picturesque Oriente train station from where we caught a train to Porto.

We often stay here when passing through Lisbon when we have to catch an early or arrive on a late plane. We really like the "young" vibe and cheerful atmosphere and the staff are very relaxed and friendly. On this occasion, arriving late after a long, hot flight, we particularly appreciated a G&T at the bar, which stays open all night. The hotel is also a short taxi/metro ride from the airport and a 10 minute walk to the Oriente railway station or the "Parque das Nações" entertainment disctrict.

The check in was flawless, room is small but very comfortable, bed and shower was nice. our room had a view of the Vasco de Gama bridge, that was a plus. The breakfast was outstanding! The location near the Oriente train station and red line Metro to airport was what we wanted. Very nice neighborhood with proximity to the 1998 Expo grounds … Vasco de Gama shopping mall, beautiful walk along the shore of the Tejo river. We would come back.

very spacious room on the 6th floor. And very quiet. Great location and easy to find when walking from Oriente railway station. Lovely breakfast with civilised hours right up to midday if you wanted a lie-in. Even had it’s own fresh orange juice machine. In the evening they had The Champions League on TV, on a massive big screen and pints for only €3 ! Snacks were also put out for you to enjoy.
